Scrambled Egg

Makes 1 toddler portion.

Prep: 3 mins Cooking 5 mins

Source of: Protein / Phosphorous / Vitamin D / Idoine / Vitamin D

Method

1. In a jug, beat the egg with the milk.
2. Heat a small, non-stick frying pan and add the butter.
3. Once butter has melted add the beaten egg and cook them over a medium heat.
4. Continue to stir and cook for about 3-4 minutes until all the egg has ‘set’.
5. Serve with: 1/2 slice of wholemeal toast.

Serving Suggestion:
Try cutting toast into different shapes with shape cutters and asking your toddler what the shape is.

Storage

Not suitable for freezing.

Making scrambled eggs is a great way to use some milk if you find your toddler isn’t a keen milk drinker. This is a quick and filling breakfast and is easy to make for all the family.
