A dietitian since 1992, in 2010 she founded the Irish Food Allergy Network (IFAN) to pursue the development of a resourced national food allergy service. She’s a member of the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI), and their PR representative for all matters relating to child health; the International Network for Diet and Nutrition in Allergy (INDANA); and was appointed to the Dietitian’s Registration Board of Coru, the health and social care professional’s regulatory council from 2013-2016.
Now self-employed with her own nutrition consultancy, she brings decades of experience working on the nutritional needs of infants, toddlers, children, teenagers and their families to Toddlebox!
“My special interest is in the area of food refusal and food allergy. I’ve worked with many families affected by cow’s milk and other food allergies, and helped to support and empower them in making safe and balanced dietary eliminations.”
