Dr Maeve Kerr

Lecturer in Food Regulatory Affairs at Ulster University

Dr Maeve Kerr has a Degree and PhD in Human Nutrition and works as a lecturer in Food Regulatory Affairs at Ulster University. Her teaching expertise includes feeding the under-fives from the weaning stage – a topic sure to be of interest to Toddlebox readers! She has been conducting research into obesity for a decade, and has published more than twenty peer reviewed publications, mainly in the area of food portion size. She led a study funded by Danone, which included seeking parent’s opinions and practices in relation to food portion sizes for young children.
